Apple Cider Vinegar Is High in Acetic Acid

The process of making vinegar is very short. In fact, it only consists of two steps, and it is related to the way that alcohol is made. The meaning of the word ”vinegar” in French is ”sour wine”. Organic apple cider vinegar contains enzymes, friendly bacteria and proteins. All of these things give it a murky, cobweb-like appearance.

Even though there is not a single study that supports this, some people still believe that the ”mother” is what makes apple cider vinegar so good. Apple cider vinegar is not so high in calories – about three calories per tablespoon. There are not many minerals and vitamins in apple cider vinegar either, but it does contain a little bit of potassium. It is important to note that a quality apple cider vinegar also contains some antioxidants and amino acids as well.

Apple cider vinegar is made by taking apples and fermenting the sugars from them. Doing this will turn them into acetic acid, which is an active ingredient in vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar can help kill many different types of pathogens, including bacteria. Some people are using it for cleaning and disinfecting purposes, as well as for treating nail fungus, warts, ear infections and lice. However, keep in mind that many of these applications are yet to be confirmed by research.

Some people are also using apple cider vinegar as a food preservative. Acetic acid is the main substance in apple cider vinegar, and it can kill many different types of bacteria.

It May Protect You Against Cancer
