Marcia DeCillo is the owner of the Cider Mill Antiques, a country shop located in the midst of the historic Hudson Valley. She has been collecting and selling yellowware for the past 20 years, and has had such wonderful pieces like the yellowware rolling pin she holds here.
Currently Marcia is writing articles for the Antiques News, an antiques newspaper serving New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. Her first article appeared in the March 2001 edition (Vol1. No.5), and was titled "Yellow Fever." It's a comprehensive view of the yellow ware market by one of the area's leading experts. Upcoming articles will discuss cupboards and Antiquing in New England.
Founder and past president of "Red Hook Arts and Antiques Dealers Association" (RHAADA), Marcia has been highlighted on Hudson Valley local television and Exploring the Hudson Valley Magazine. Marcia and her horse While Marcia also has considerable expertise with baskets, textiles, old paint primitive furniture, and country smalls, she says, "I am an equestrian at heart." Marcia manages to ride her horse Darc'y , almost every day, in-between buying and selling the best country antiques Red Hook has to offer!
